I was looking exhaustively for a well maintained pre owned Ford F150. At the time of my search the used truck market was flooded with used F150's in my price range. That is awesome, but it's tough to trust anyone while buying a used car nowadays, am I right? There were a ton of used F150's at dealerships on "this and that" street in San Antonio, private sellers on FB Marketplace, and even the much larger mega dealerships.First off, I don't trust the used car dealerships in San Antonio. You know, the ones that have slick tongue salesmen that are asking you about whether you'll be financing so they can send you a link to run your credit, or if you'll be paying with cash within 30 seconds of talking to them. Second, it's a major crap shoot with all the private sellers on FB Marketplace. Even if they have maintenance records, clean CarFax, and swear up and down that their 5.0 isn't one of the ones that over consumes oil...how am I protected at all? And lastly, the mega Toyota dealership was so busy they could't get to me (After I set an appointment), and the F150 that I went to see had literal trash in the bed & cabin, and it was filthy in every way. Then, the mega Ford Dealership was so damn expensive that I didn't need to wonder why no one was there.But then...as I was checking FB Marketplace I saw a few 2019 F150's that looked impeccable, with the mileage and price we were looking for. It was Antler Auto. I checked their website to see if they were legit...AND...they are! When I was scrolling through their inventory I found a 2023 F150 2.7 with 136k, one owner, flawless maintenance records, and right in our price range.I sent a message on FB Marketplace and immediately (At 9:15pm!), Tanner responded. He said that the trucks were still there, and that they open at 9am the next day. BTW...Tanner never asked if I was financing. He just said, "I'll see you tomorrow!".We arrived shortly before 10am the next day, and the 23 F150 was too sweet to pass up compared to the other two trucks. They were great too though! However, the price, condition, maintenance, and style of the 23 F150 were all top notch! But, the coolest part was Tanner. He was just like one of my bros hanging out with me, and the test drive lasted 30 minutes. I'd be blessed and highly favored to even get a 10 minute test drive at any other dealership. Tanner even directed me to the interstate and told me to put the truck in "Sport Mode"...and DAMN!!...that truck moved!We got back and made a fair & reasonable deal that was perfectly in our price range. Tanner even took a bit off the top of the price which was cool, and we were out at 12:05pm! Literally a hair over two hours! That's not to say that they rushed us. NO! I was outside talking to my wife about the price and looking over, under, and side to side of the truck for probably 40 minutes. Tanner never came out once. He just sat in the office talking to the owner. I did not feel pressured at all!I STRONGLY RECOMMEND ANTLER AUTO & TANNER WHEN IN THE MARKET FOR A USED TRUCK!Oh! And, they gave me a nice hat after the payment & paperwork!Antler Auto...I will be back!

Husband and I were looking for a used truck. Looked online at Antler Auto. Joy Willson was fantastic at Antler Auto. Super quick, very knowledgeable and friendly! She is the best. Literally walked in on our lunch break and walked out less than 2 hours later with the truck we wanted! Even with one small thing we wanted them to look at, they took care of it, no questions asked! Highly recommend her and her team! Thank you Joy!

Easy place to buy a car. We totaled our previous van and found what we wanted at Antler. Called ahead and Tanner had it ready and waiting for us. We went to 9 other dealerships and we were utterly disappointed with our salespeople. Tanner in his HeyDudes and fishing shirt instantly made us feel relaxed and not pressured into the buy. Tanner will be our first call the next time we need a vehicle.

I don’t have the words to convey how happy I am about my recent automobile purchase from Antler Auto. The stars of this transaction are sales person Tanner Bendele and finance person Joy Ann Willson. Having bummed a ride from my neighbor in order to look for a new car I was very conscience of the fact that she was waiting on me while I did my thing. Tanner helped me locate what I wanted in minutes, grabbed the keys and got me out for a test drive (which made the purchase decision for me) and then Joy took my information and, seeing my unease, sent me on my way. By the time I got home Joy had called me to say if you bring me a small down payment you can drive your new car home. Tanner came and picked me up and the rest is, like they say, history. I give Antler Auto my highest recommendation. PS- I just went back so Tanner could help me set up my new car. Things have really changed since the last time I bought a car. Thank you Tanner. You're awesome.
